Schedule 1:1s

A strong 1-1 starts before the call. Set the right cadence, add context early, and make the meeting easy to run.

1-1s how-to

Watch this first to see how to schedule the right meeting type, keep cadence clean, and bring context in before the conversation starts.

Start where you already work

You can create meetings from:

  • Your Events
  • a direct report profile in Team
  • Add to Agenda moments that should become real conversations

Create the right meeting type

Choose Structured 1-1 for manager-report coaching conversations, or Meeting for broader collaboration.

Then set title, date/time, attendees, recurrence, and meeting location/link. Structured 1-1s keep attendees constrained to manager/report relationships so the conversation stays focused. A 1:1 is therefore a specialized meeting type inside ClarityLoop, not a separate system.

Add useful context before the meeting

Before saving, you can add agenda items, links, and working context so the meeting starts with clarity instead of catch-up.

Run recurring cadence cleanly

For recurring events, you can edit one occurrence or the full series. When canceling, you can cancel just one event or the whole series. That makes weekly cadence easy to maintain without breaking the full schedule.

Keep calendars in sync

With Google or Microsoft connected, schedule updates sync externally. If integration is disconnected, ClarityLoop warns you before saving. With Google connected, you can also Copy from Google while creating an event.

For setup details, see Calendar integration.

A simple working rhythm

  1. Schedule the cadence.
  2. Capture agenda/context during the week.
  3. Run the meeting.
  4. Leave with clear actions.
  5. Review progress before the next 1-1.
