ClarityLoop integrates with Jira to help teams capture context from issues and track progress toward objectives. The "Add to ClarityLoop" button on Jira issues allows users to attach work items to feedback, 1:1 agendas, OKRs, or career development discussions—ensuring that ongoing work is recognized and linked to growth opportunities.

What the Jira integration includes​

Installing the Jira integration​

📌 Only workspace owners can install the Jira integration.

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations
  2. Find Jira and click the "Connect" icon
  3. Authorize ClarityLoop to access your Jira instance by following the on-screen instructions

👉 Additional Setup: Email Visibility Configuration

For proper integration and to ensure all workspace communications are seamless, ensure that every workspace member’s email visibility is set to Anyone. To update this setting:

  • Go to Manage account > Profile and visibility > Contact > Email address (who can see this?)

Once installed and configured, the "Add to ClarityLoop" button appears on the Jira issues menu, allowing teams to seamlessly attach work items to performance and growth areas.

How to use Jira with ClarityLoop​

Attaching Jira issues to feedback, OKRs, and 1:1s​

  • Click "Add to ClarityLoop" on a Jira issue.
  • Choose where to attach it: feedback, OKRs, a 1:1 agenda, or career frameworks.
