SAML integration

SAML lets a workspace use the company's identity provider for sign-in. In ClarityLoop, that is a workspace-level setup for owners on the Professional plan.

Who should set it up

SAML is the right choice when your company wants sign-in to follow the same identity system it uses elsewhere.

It is most useful when you want:

  • tighter control over access through your identity provider
  • a cleaner sign-in path for employees
  • workspace access rules that match the rest of your company systems

SAML is available on the Professional plan.

How setup starts in ClarityLoop

  1. Open Workspace Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find SAML SSO.
  3. Choose Set up SAML.
  4. Confirm the request.

ClarityLoop then sends a personalized setup link to the workspace owner's registered email address. The product asks you to expect that message within about 30 minutes.

Roll it out cleanly

Before you switch people over, it helps to make sure:

  • the work email addresses in ClarityLoop match what your identity provider expects
  • the people leading setup also have the right admin access on the identity-provider side
  • you test with a small admin group before treating SSO as the normal sign-in path for everyone

This keeps rollout problems small and makes it easier to guide invited users to the right sign-in method.

What changes after SAML is connected

Once SAML is connected:

  • the workspace shows the connected identity provider in the integrations area
  • members use the SSO sign-in path for that workspace
  • switching into that workspace can trigger SSO if the person is not already authenticated for it

If you need to roll SAML back or replace the configuration, owners can disconnect it from the integrations area.

FAQs

Which providers can work with this setup?

Typical SAML identity providers such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and OneLogin can fit this setup.

Who can start the setup flow?

Workspace owners, and platform admins, on Professional-plan workspaces.

Do invites still work when the workspace uses SSO?

Yes. The invite still goes out normally. The invited person simply signs in through SSO for that workspace.

Can we disconnect SAML later?

Yes. Owners can disconnect it from the integrations area.
