Workspaces

In ClarityLoop, a workspace represents an organization or team environment where members collaborate, share feedback, track objectives, and view performance insights. Each user can belong to one or more workspaces.

This guide explains how to create, manage, and customize your workspace settings.

Creating a workspace

When you sign up for ClarityLoop, you're prompted to create a workspace if one doesn't already exist. You can also create additional workspaces if needed.

How to create a workspace:

  1. Go to ClarityLoop Sign-Up.
  2. Enter your name, email, and password or use other signup options.
  3. Follow the prompts to set up a new workspace:
    • Workspace name: Typically the company or team name.
    • Workspace logo: (Optional) Upload a logo to personalize your workspace.
  4. Click Create Workspace.

What happens next:

  • You become the workspace owner with full access to settings and member management.
  • You can invite others to join your workspace.

Joining an existing workspace

If your organization already uses ClarityLoop, you can join an existing workspace if you've received an invite.

How to join:

  • Open the invitation email from ClarityLoop.
  • Click the Join Workspace button.
  • Follow the prompts to create your account if you don't already have one.

Troubleshooting:

  • Didn't get the email? Check your spam folder or ask your workspace owner to resend the invite.

Switching between workspaces

Users who belong to multiple workspaces can easily switch between them.

How to switch workspaces:

  • Click "Workspace name > Switch icon on the top bar.
  • Or "Switch workspace" from the sidebar.
  • Click "Select" on the workspace you want to switch to.

Workspace settings

Workspace owners can customize settings to match their team's needs.

Accessing workspace settings:

  • Click Workspace name on the top bar or sidebar.
  • Select Settings.

Key settings available:

  • Workspace name and logo: Update basic workspace details.
  • Member management: Invite, remove, and assign roles to members.
  • Integrations: Connect tools like Slack, GitHub, Jira etc.

Workspace owners control who can access the workspace and what permissions they have.

Key tasks:

  • Invite new members: Add individuals to the workspace.
  • Assign roles: Control access levels and permissions.
  • Remove members: Revoke access when needed.

Renaming or updating workspace details

Workspace owners can rename the workspace or update the logo if needed.

How to update:

  • Go to Workspace Settings.
  • Update the name or logo.
  • Click Save Icon.

Tip: Use a clear, recognizable name and logo for better team recognition.

Requesting workspace deactivation

While deleting a workspace is not directly available in ClarityLoop, workspace owners can request deactivation if the workspace is no longer needed.

How to request deactivation:

  1. Send an email to support@clarityloop.com with the following details:

    • Workspace name
    • Reason for deactivation
    • Confirmation that data associated with the workspace is no longer needed
  2. The support team will assess the request and confirm the next steps.
