Login methods
ClarityLoop offers flexible login options to suit your organization’s needs while maintaining security and ease of access. This guide explains the available login methods, how they work, and how administrators can manage them.
Available login methods
ClarityLoop supports the following login methods:
- Email and password: A simple, secure way for users to access the platform using their registered email address and a password.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML: Enable team members to sign in using their organization's identity provider (e.g., Okta, JumpCloud, OneLogin etc.). Available only on the Professional Plan.
- Social login (Google & Microsoft): Users can log in using their Google or Microsoft accounts without needing a separate password for ClarityLoop.
Email and password login
The default login method in ClarityLoop is via email and password. Users simply provide their email address and create a password when signing up.
How it works:
- Go to the ClarityLoop Login Page.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click Log In to access your workspace.
Security features:
- Passwords are hashed and stored securely.
- Failed login attempts are monitored, and accounts may be temporarily locked after multiple unsuccessful attempts.
Social login (Google & Microsoft)
Social login allows users to access ClarityLoop using their existing Google or Microsoft accounts. This method reduces password fatigue and simplifies onboarding for teams that already use these services.
How it works:
- On the login screen, select Continue with Google or Continue with Azure.
- Authenticate via the chosen provider if not already signed in.
- After successful authentication, access your ClarityLoop workspace immediately.
Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML
ClarityLoop supports SSO using the SAML protocol, allowing team members to log in through their organization's identity provider (e.g., Okta). This method enhances security by centralizing authentication.
Availability: SAML SSO is only available on the Professional Plan.
How it works:
- On the login screen, click Single sign-on(SSO).
- Enter work email.
- Authenticate through the configured identity provider.
Once set up, users will be able to log in without managing separate ClarityLoop credentials.
