Onboarding

The HR+ Onboarding workspace keeps post-offer activities organised. It links directly to your recruitments so you can welcome new joiners with staged checklists, assigned owners, and internal task visibility.

Workspace overview​

  • Onboarding View – Pipeline of onboarding stages for each recruitment, showing which candidates are at each step and their task completion.
  • Candidates View – Filterable list of candidates who are currently onboarding, with quick access to their stage history and assigned tasks.

Set up stages​

  1. Open Onboarding › Onboarding View and pick a recruitment.
  2. Add stages such as “Pre-boarding”, “IT Setup”, or “First Week”.
  3. Assign stage managers to keep accountability clear.
  4. Mark the final stage so HR+ records the onboarding completion date when candidates reach it.

Each recruitment starts with an initial stage automatically, and you can reorder stages at any time.

Build task checklists​

  • Create reusable tasks within each stage (e.g. “Collect ID documents”, “Ship laptop”).
  • Assign task managers so they receive notifications when new hires enter their stage.
  • Link tasks to candidates as they enter the pipeline; everyone can see the status (Todo, Scheduled, Ongoing, Stuck, Done).

Guide candidates through onboarding​

  • Move candidates between stages as milestones are met or let HR+ update the stage when tasks are completed.
  • Monitor each person’s progress from the pipeline view—task completion ratios highlight where follow-up is needed.
  • Keep notes and upload supporting files on the candidate record so the whole team stays informed.

Tips for smooth onboarding​

  • Align stage names with internal owners so everyone knows when to step in.
  • Schedule reminders for task owners ahead of start dates to avoid last-minute delays.
  • Keep tasks focused on essentials; personal details like bank information can be captured once the employee signs up for ClarityLoop.
