Publishing career framework

Publishing a career framework in ClarityLoop makes it the active structure for your organization, enabling team members to see clear growth paths and ensuring that the framework is applied across the platform.

How publishing works​

Only workspace owners can publish frameworks. Once published:

  • The framework becomes the active reference for roles, levels, and competencies.
  • Team members' current levels can be updated based on the new structure.
  • Career insights and growth pathways are recalculated to reflect the latest responsibilities and competencies.

Note: Only one framework can be published at a time. Draft frameworks are visible only to workspace owners.

Steps to publish a career framework​

  1. Go to Career Frameworks:

    • Open Org > Career Frameworks from the sidebar.

  2. Select the framework:

    • Find the draft framework you want to publish.

  3. Review the structure:

    • Check departments, roles, tracks, levels, and competencies for accuracy.
    • Make adjustments if needed.

  4. Click 'Publish':

    • Confirm your choice.

FAQs​

Can I publish more than one framework?
No. Only one framework can be active at a time.

What if I need to make changes later?
Changes can be made to a published framework, apart from deleting a level/role that is associated with a person (in use).
