Screenshot capture

Screenshot capture is the fastest way to add visual evidence when links alone are not enough. Use it for UI states, charts, message snippets, and multi-source evidence.

Start here if...

  • You need to capture context from tools that are not integrated.
  • You need visual evidence (UI state, chart, design, message thread).
  • You need one artifact that combines details from multiple places.

Where you can add screenshots

  • Notes (You -> Notes)
  • Feedback drafts
  • Feedback request drafts
  • 1:1 agenda items
  • Goal/OKR updates

If you are unsure whether to capture first or attach directly, use Context Capture Overview.

How it works

  1. Capture the moment.

    • Take a screenshot of anything relevant.
    • You can use OS screenshot tools or the browser extension.
  2. Upload or drag/drop in ClarityLoop.

    • Add it in notes or directly in a workflow draft.
  3. Add or edit metadata.

    • ClarityLoop can summarize image context.
    • You can still refine title/description for clarity.
  4. Attach where decisions happen.

    • Reuse in feedback, 1:1s, and goals.

Why screenshot capture is useful

  • Works even when no direct integration exists.
  • Preserves visual state exactly as seen.
  • Helps combine evidence from multiple tools into one context artifact.
