Notes
Notes are your private workspace in ClarityLoop for saving useful evidence while you work. Use them when you want to capture now and decide how to use it later.
Use notes when...​
- You want a running record of wins, blockers, and examples.
- You are not ready to send feedback yet, but do not want to lose context.
- You want reusable evidence for feedback, requests, 1:1s, or goals.
What you can save​
- Rich text
- Links (with metadata previews)
- Screenshots and files
- Browser extension captures
- Items from the Context feed
Create a note​
- Go to You -> Notes.
- Click New Note.
- Add a title (optional) and write your note.
- Add links, screenshots, or files.
- Click Save.
Add evidence to a note​
- Paste links from tools like Slack, Jira, or GitHub.
- Upload screenshots and files.
- Pick items from the Context feed.
- Use the Browser extension for quick capture while browsing.
Use notes in workflows​
You can attach notes to:
- Feedback drafts
- Feedback request drafts
- 1:1 agenda items
- Goal/OKR updates and comments
Attach from notes list (Add to...)​
- Go to You -> Notes.
- Open the note menu.
- Click Add to....
- Choose the destination (feedback, request, 1:1, or OKR) and confirm.
Attach while editing a draft​
- Open the draft you are working on.
- Open the context panel.
- Select the note from the Notes tab and attach it.
Organize notes​
- Use search to find notes quickly.
- Switch list or grid view based on how you prefer to scan.
- Archive notes you do not need right now so your active list stays focused.
Archive and restore​
- Open the note menu and archive the note.
- Turn on Include archived in filters when you need to find old notes.
- Restore the note from the same menu.

FAQs​
Are notes private?
Yes. Notes are personal by default. If you attach a note to another workflow item, it becomes visible there.
Can I add screenshots or files to notes?
Yes. Upload directly, or capture via the browser extension.
Can I archive notes and restore them later?
Yes. You can archive from note actions and restore later using Include archived.
Is this the same as meeting notes?
No. Notes are separate from 1:1 meeting notes. For meeting notes, see Meeting notes.
