Bitbucket integration

Bitbucket is useful when pull request work is part of how your team evaluates delivery, review quality, and collaboration. In ClarityLoop, the value is in bringing the right technical examples into people conversations, not in copying your entire repo workflow.

What Bitbucket helps with

Use Bitbucket when you want pull requests and review work to support:

  • specific feedback examples
  • growth or performance discussions
  • goals and follow-up conversations tied to real engineering work

Who sets it up

Workspace owners install Bitbucket for the workspace.

How to connect Bitbucket

  1. Open Workspace Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find Bitbucket.
  3. Open the install instructions in ClarityLoop.
  4. Use the provided install URL in Bitbucket Settings > Apps > Manage apps.

Once connected, Bitbucket pull requests can surface the Add to ClarityLoop action when the workspace keeps PR Quick Action enabled.

How people use it

Use Bitbucket selectively:

  • attach the PRs that actually show something worth discussing
  • use review context when it helps explain impact, ownership, or collaboration
  • bring code examples into ClarityLoop when they improve the conversation, not because they exist

How ClarityLoop uses Bitbucket data

  • Automatic context: supported Bitbucket flows can bring pull request details and review collaboration into ClarityLoop so shared engineering work can inform feedback and growth signals.
  • Manual linking: people can also attach a PR directly when it is the right example for a feedback conversation, 1:1, request, or goal.

Use it well

  • keep PR Quick Action enabled if you want the Add to ClarityLoop entry point on new pull requests
  • keep Bitbucket and ClarityLoop identity details aligned where possible
  • avoid turning every PR into noise inside ClarityLoop
