Teamwork integration

Bring Teamwork.com projects, tasks, and task comments into feedback, goals, reviews, and 1:1s.

Public availability is pending Teamwork app verification. Until approved, ClarityLoop's app can only connect to the Teamwork account where it was created.

Who sets it up

A ClarityLoop workspace owner connects Teamwork once for the workspace. Members do not need to connect individually.

What you need before connecting

  • A Teamwork account with access to the projects you want to use.
  • A paid Teamwork plan and owner-company site administrator permissions for webhook setup.
  • Webhooks enabled under Teamwork site settings > Webhooks.

Webhooks are a customer site setting, separate from ClarityLoop's app verification. Once enabled, ClarityLoop registers its event subscriptions during connection. See Teamwork's setup instructions.

How to connect Teamwork

  1. Open Workspace Settings > Integrations in ClarityLoop.
  2. Find Teamwork and choose Connect Teamwork.
  3. Authorize access and return to ClarityLoop.

Projects are discovered automatically using the connected account's permissions.

If live updates could not be enabled, check the Teamwork site's webhook setting and administrator permissions, then disconnect and reconnect.

How people use it

Paste a Teamwork project or task link wherever ClarityLoop accepts context. Links must belong to the connected Teamwork site.

  • Projects: see the owner, team, status, task-completion progress, dates, and last update. Larger teams show the first three names; hover over the team list to see everyone.
  • Tasks: see assignees, project and task list, status, progress, priority, and due or completion details.

Use these details when discussing delivery, ownership, collaboration, or progress against a goal.

How ClarityLoop uses Teamwork data

Projects and tasks are stored as separate context items. Task comments are attached to their tasks. Supported webhook events refresh the stored work context; task changes also refresh the parent project's completion progress. Reload work context to see refreshed details. Context already attached to feedback, goals, or reviews remains a snapshot.

User matching uses the shared ClarityLoop matching logic: email first for the author, with a unique active workspace member name as fallback. Automatic project and task capture requires a matched active author. Unmatched comment authors keep their external name or email.

Private tasks and comments are excluded. Teamwork.com site domains, including regional domains, are supported. Custom domains and browser background capture are not supported.

Disconnect

Use the disconnect control in Workspace Settings > Integrations. Previously imported context remains in ClarityLoop. Deleting source work or changing its privacy does not automatically remove historical copies.

If access has been revoked, disconnect and reconnect. A Teamwork administrator may need to remove remaining ClarityLoop webhooks in Teamwork settings.
