HiBob integration

ClarityLoop connects to HiBob (Bob) via OAuth to keep people data in sync. Once connected, ClarityLoop automatically pulls employee information from HiBob and keeps your workspace membership up to date.

What the HiBob integration includes​

  1. Automatic member sync

    • Invites new employees from HiBob into your ClarityLoop workspace.
    • Updates existing members based on HiBob data.
  2. Profile and manager updates

    • Syncs name, title, and reporting manager.
  3. Onboarding trigger

    • Starts onboarding in ClarityLoop when an employee’s start date is within the last 2 days.

Requirements​

  • Only workspace owners can connect or disconnect HiBob.
  • Employee emails in HiBob should match the email addresses used in ClarityLoop.
  • OAuth scopes should include at least employee.basic_data:read.

Installing the HiBob integration​

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find HiBob and click Connect HiBob.
  3. You’ll be redirected to HiBob to approve the install.
  4. After approval, you’ll return to ClarityLoop and the integration will show as Connected.

Option B: Install from the HiBob Marketplace​

  1. Click Install in the HiBob Marketplace.
  2. Complete the consent flow.
  3. You’ll be redirected back to ClarityLoop.

Important: The install will attach to the currently logged-in workspace owner’s workspace. If you belong to multiple workspaces, make sure you are in the correct one before installing.

How syncing works​

  • ClarityLoop polls HiBob on a regular schedule (about every 30 minutes).
  • While connected, member details synced from HiBob are read-only in ClarityLoop.

Troubleshooting​

I connected HiBob but don’t see employees syncing

  • Confirm the HiBob app has the employee.basic_data:read scope.
  • Make sure employee emails in HiBob match the emails in ClarityLoop.
  • Wait for the next sync cycle (up to ~30 minutes).

I need to change scopes

  • HiBob does not support re-consent. Uninstall and reinstall the app in HiBob.

I installed from the marketplace but connected the wrong workspace

  • Disconnect HiBob in ClarityLoop, then reinstall while logged into the correct workspace.

Uninstalling​

Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations and disconnect HiBob.
