What the Slack integration includes

  1. Give and request feedback effortlessly

    • Click "Give Feedback" on any message to capture context and share structured feedback.
    • Use "Request Feedback" to gather input from colleagues at the right moment.
  2. Add to ClarityLoop for better context

    • Click "Add to ClarityLoop" to attach messages and discussions to existing feedback, 1:1s, OKRs, or other key areas.
    • The system reads and understands message content to provide AI-driven insights and context-aware recommendations.
  3. Keep feedback in the flow of work

    • Give and receive feedback directly where collaboration happens, ensuring meaningful moments don’t get lost.
    • Reduce friction by linking conversations to long-term goals, growth areas, and performance insights.

Installing the Slack integration

📌 Only workspace owners can install the Slack integration.

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations
  2. Find Slack and click "Add to Slack"
  3. Authorize ClarityLoop to access your Slack workspace
  4. Add ClarityLoop app to relevant Slack channels too

👉 IMPORTANT: Email Consistency

  • Ensure that every workspace member's Slack email matches the email they use to access ClarityLoop.

Once installed, team members can start using ClarityLoop within Slack immediately.

How to use Slack with ClarityLoop

Giving and requesting feedback

  • Right-click any Slack message and select "Give Feedback"
  • Click "Request Feedback" from the ClarityLoop app in Slack
  • Use the /give-feedback or /request-feedback Slack commands

Attaching context with "Add to ClarityLoop"

  • Attach Slack messages to existing feedback, OKRs, 1:1 agendas, or reviews
  • System reads and understands content to provide AI-powered insights
  • Helps create context-aware feedback and action items

Who can install the Slack integration?
Only workspace owners can install Slack for the workspace.

What if a workspace member's Slack email does not match the ClarityLoop email?
Ensure that workspace members update their email settings in both Slack and ClarityLoop so that the same email address is used for both systems. This helps maintain seamless integration and accurate tracking of feedback and performance.

Can I give feedback in private channels?
Yes, but ClarityLoop must be added to the private channel first.

Do I need to connect my Slack account individually?
No. Once the integration is installed, all workspace members can use it.
